Pastor Jeff will be speaking to the Zone this wednesday for our 13-18 ge group. Pastor Jeff always compassionate will be speaking on life issues that will impact your life. the Zone will open at 5:30 pm for 13-18 years olds, come hungry and have fun. 217 W. Depot St. downtown Bedford.
Chris Ashman will be leading the College age ministry at 6:45pm in the Cafe’ upstairs outside of the Sanctuary. This group is new for college age adults who are now graduated from high school and are embarking on a new chapter in their lives. We will touch on topics that pertain to entering the work force, college life, military life and all of the other aspects of this new chapter. This will be a coffee house setting, where we discuss what the Bible has for us. So if you are out of high school in college or working come on out to enjoy some “Good Coffee”, Doughnuts, open discussion and some good conversation, I hope to see you there at 6:45pm in the Life Cafe’. Tonight 6/25/08 we have for you a guest speaker Lori Lewis. Lorie comes to us from Rainbow Forest Baptist Church, also Lori is the Director of the Bedford Pregnancy Center. Lori is a great speaker and is in tune with the stresses of todays teens. I promise you you will not want to miss her presentation. This Sunday 10:00am at Life Church Bedford, Va. we will be having our Teen Emphasis Sunday. The purpose is to allow the teens and their parents to share in what the the Zone’s mission is. The teens run the service and the parents watch and the church congregation also enjoy seeing these teens lives being changed. Tonight at the Zone we will be bidding farewell to Jordan Cooter. Jordan has been on the Praise and Worship Team for a while as well as a youth leader. Jordan will be leaving us tonight to repare for his upcoming Missions trip to China. Jordan will be gone for a year and will be sharing the love of Jesus Christ with the nation of China. I encourage everybody to come out tonight and listen as Jordan teaches on and shares what he will be doing over in China. Girls this night is all about you!!! Saturday April 19th is our 1st Annual Girls Night Inn, hosted by the Zone and the girl leaders of the Zone Nicole Ashman and Hannah Manley. It starts at 5:00pm and will go into Sunday Morning. That night will consist of dinner, ice cream sundaes, Facials by Mary Kay, some Great Teaching on Purity and other issues relating to Godly Girls and their Generation. Also that night there will be a great movie being shown “One Night With The King” this a great Love Story and it is Awesome, will have popcorn as well, so come and enjoy this night that is all about girls. Bring MODEST pajamas, pillow, blanket and or sleeping bag, toothbrush and clothes for church the next morning. Also INVITE A FRIEND TO COME WITH YOU and enjoy the Girls Night Inn.
